Dog of the Week
Oh the sun, the flowers and all the fun just waiting to be had. All that is missing is a family to share it with. This must be what five month Violet is thinking as she poses for her photos. This darling little Brittany Spaniel/Pit Bull terrier mix is quite a happy go lucky pup who enjoys making new friends, both human and canine. She will be a beloved and loyal addition to the lucky family that welcomes her into their home. A typical high energy puppy, she will need a family that can keep up with her and that has the time and energy that young dogs require. Violet enjoys playing with toys and is especially fond of balls and will amuse herself, and any on lookers, chasing one around the floor. Cat of the Week
This pretty little girl is Maddy. She has nice white fur with grey markings and a unique extra cute face. She came in to Anderson Animal Shelter February 2013 when she was about two and a half years old. Sadly, she was brought to the shelter because of cat allergies in the family. She is a darling kitty and very sweet. Maddy would be more than happy to be the new family member you are looking for.
